La exposión de Valentino Garabani celebra sus 50 años de carrera. Formada por 130 piezas de su propia colección privadam entre otras piezas destaca: el vestido que utilizó Jackie Kennedy en su boda con Onassis, el vestido con el que recibió el Oscar, Julia Roberts y el vestido de novia de Marie Chantal Miller. Si teneis la suerte de ir a Londres en el prestigioso Somerset House a verla, estará abierta hasta el 3 de Marzo del 2013.

The preview of the new exhibition celebrating Italian designer Valentino Garavani’s 50-year career has just taken place in London at the prestigious Somerset House. Valentino’s career retrospect showcases over 130 hand-crafted, couture designs worn by fashion icons, besides giving visitors a glimpse of his world, as it reveals images from his personal archives, as well as films – all of them shedding light on the genius’s creative process. Some of the exhibition highlights are the ivory lace dress worn by Jacqueline Kennedy for her wedding with Onassis in 1968, the black velvet dress, with white ribbons, in which Julia Roberts received the Academy Awards in 2001, and the wedding gown worn by Princess Marie-Chantal in 1995.

A exposição Garabani Valentino celebra 50 anos de carreira e é composto por 130 peças de sua coleção particular. Entre outros destaques peças que usavam roupas de Jackie Kennedy Onassis em seu casamento, o vestido que ganhou o Oscar, Julia Roberts e do vestido de casamento de Marie Chantal Miller.
